Squeaky Clean Window Solutions dedicates a lot of resources to advertising. However, they knew their company was missing out on a large segment of the market by not having a website.
Through careful analysis, it was determined that owner Rhonda Leland wanted a website that reflected their vast array of blinds, shutters and shades but was capable of providing information to both their residential and corporate customers. With a long-established brand identity in the Charlotte and Lake Wylie areas, she also wanted complete control over the content of their website and the ability to edit text and pictures at will. It was also necessary to design the site with the goal of achieving great results in search engines.
How We Did It:
- Identified a multiple-phase site deployment. By creating a plan to build the site in phases, we were able to deliver a great introductory site at a low cost. Since some search engines give higher ratings to sites that have been established longer, putting up a quality site immediately was of great importance.
- Selected suitable keywords to focus on. Squeaky Clean Window Solutions serves all of the Carolinas but, as with most businesses, finds that it is most cost effective to focus on local customers. We targeted specific geographic regions for search engine placement.
- Deployed Content Management software. Content management software was configured so Rhonda could edit the text and pictures of the Squeaky Clean site as she wished. This way she can update the website as often as she wishes through an interface no more complicated than Microsoft Word. This is a great benefit when trying to achieve high search engine listings as fresh content helps in the ranking process. We were also able to take advantage of automating the notification process of several internet site aggregators when the site is updated. Now several internet tracking sites know when the site is updated.
