Microsoft Security Update Checklist.
- Turn on Automatic Updates. Click the Start button at the bottom left hand corner. Look for the Windows Updates icon – it is a picture of the Windows icon and a globe. Select that and make sure it is set to get Microsoft updates automatically.
- Download all Available Updates. You can go to a specific Microsoft page that will scan your computer and tell you what you need to have updated. The service is free! Here is the link.
