In an article today, the Charlotte Business Journal cites a Verizon study finding that the Queen City sent and received more than 103 million texts in April, a nearly 600 percent increase from two years ago.
At $0.20/msg, Verizon could make $20,600,000 per month just in text messages from Charlotte alone.
