No Tricks, Just Treats: October in Review

No Tricks, Just Treats: October in Review

This month brought several changes for the Charlotte Web Development site. I changed the website design and started posting content every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

While the new look is nice, the real story is this content. Humbly, I think some great pieces were added. Just as interesting as the content is the response and interaction we have seen. Here’s a recap:

Essential Website Checklists Series

I like checklists, they make my life easier. Now they’ll make your life easier, too. This month I added the New Blog Best Practices checklist.

Website ROI Series

Why build a website if it won’t make any money? I’ve never been able to understand this. While most designers are more than happy to build anything you want – charging you all the way – only Charlotte Web Development actually cares if you will get a return on your investment. To that end, I started the Website ROI series to answer questions such as Are Blogs worth the ROI for Small Business and Better Website ROI.

Website Design Error Series

This was an extensive WHAT NOT TO DO list across all areas of website design.

Other Items of Note

I ventured ever so tentatively into the political discussion with McCain vs Obama: Who has the better website?

A call for WordPress Case Studies was issued.

All in all, not a bad month’s work. And I’ve got a lot more planned on the way. If you have a suggestion, please let me know! Leave a comment or use the Contact Page linked at the top. Happy Halloween all!
