GoDaddy Hosting Review
GoDaddy is what people sign up for if they are too cheap to get a real web host.
Remember, you get what you pay for. I have seen GoDaddy do some scummy things. I warn you against using them.
Try my web hosting if you want a professional to help you. If you’d rather do it yourself, try DreamHost, HostGator, Network Solutions, or even MidPhase if you’re really cheap.
Here’s what some other people I know had to say about GoDaddy.
I have had frustrating experiences with GoDaddy, it takes some massaging to run a standard LAMP app like Drupal. Currently I am PM on a .NET project that imports a large amount of updated data frequently – but the SQL log at GoDaddy becomes full, and we cannot clear it ourselves, so the import fails and we have to open a ticket to reset the log – just not acceptable.

I had a VPS with GoDaddy a while back, and the disk latency was awful — there were periods when accessing a file would take 10 seconds. I sent them detailed measurements but got “that’s within your service level” in return.
